This may come as a bit of a surprise to some, but DeMuro doesn’t know all that much about cars.

The fact that he doesn't research some things prior to his videos is puzzling, but he's not the first to do so (RCR is guilty of this as well).

I think you expect too much of him. He's essentially a YouTube personality with a car theme and so I typically expect YouTube personality quality work. I don't watch him anymore as a result.

He worked in Finance, but he might not have dealt at all with Trade partners or sourcing.

I worked at the HQ of one of the biggest auto parts retailers in finance and none of my coworkers knew anything at all about the car industry.
